Admissions to Bachelor of Pharmacy PDF Print E-mail

1.0 General
The rules and information given herein are applicable for admission tour first year of four years degree course in pharmacy (F. Y. B. Pharm) and also for second year direct admission after Diploma in Pharmacy.

1.1 Number of seats and Duration
The intake capacity is 60 and duration of course is four years.
a) Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) Seats
CAP quota: - 100%

1. 2 Admission Authority
The Principal shall be the admission Authority. All decision taken in relation to admission to first year B. Pharmacy in seats remaining vacant after CAP allotment round by the principal shall be final and binding.

2. 0 Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates and Outside Maharashtra State Candidate for admission to FIRST YEAR of degree course in Pharmacy
a) Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects 'English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology Mathematics and secured minimum 45% marks i.e. 135 marks out of 300 marks (40% marks i.e. 120 marks out of 300 marks for backward class category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics added together (Maximum of Marks obtained in Biology / Mathematics shall be considered for the purpose of addition).
And
Obtained a non zero score in subjects Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Mathematics added together at MHT-CET 2013.
b) Candidates passing Diploma in Pharmacy from Maharashtra State
Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum of 45% marks & medium of instruction as English from AICTE approved Polytechnics.
c) Appeared and qualified AIEEE examination conducted by CBSE, New Delhi for the year 2013. AIEEE qualified candidates from Maharashtra state as well as other Maharashtra states are eligible for admission under this seat
d) Candidates passing Diploma in Pharmacy from Outside Maharashtra State
Diploma holders who have passed the Minimum two years diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum 45% marks and medium of instruction as English from the Polytechnics outside Maharashtra State.
Basic qualification as specified in rule a or qualified in CET for pharmacy Degree course conducted by agency, if any (including Association of all colleges of particular type in the state) approved and permitted by Parvesh Niyantran Samiti, Bandra (E) Mumbai 51 for the academic year 2013-14.

3. 0 Eligibility criteria for direct SECOND YEAR admission process to be carried at institute level for vacant seats.
For the direct 2nd year B. Pharm admission candidates should have passed the (post S.S.C./H.S.C.) Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) from Maharashtra state OR other state from an institute approved by Pharmacy Council of India scoring (45% i.e. 540/1200 and 450/1000 as per ER- 91) (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class category and physically handicapped belonging only to Maharashtra state). The admission of such candidates shall be subjected to eligibility being granted by the university affiliating the admitting college.
Note: Any other changes/additional requirement in admission qualification will be as per Directorate of Technical Education OR PCI from time to time.

4.0 Admission under against CAP Vacant seat
Aspiring candidates under this quota fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall apply directly to the Secretary, Wainganga Bahu-Uddeshiya Vikas Sanstha’s, Nagpur / Principal of the college after publication of advertising in Hitavada / Lokmat / Loksatta / Indian Express / Sakal / Times of India or any other daily newspaper.
Detail scheduled of the admission process shall be displayed on the college notice board.
The admission taken under this rule is independent of the admission taken through centralized allotment process conducted by competent authority. Therefore refund of cancellation of admission such vacant CAP seats would be as per the refund rule of the institute.

5. 0 Application and documents required
No application will be accepted for consideration unless it has attested copies of documents
1) Certificate of marks obtained at HSSC or its equivalent examination.
2) MHT-CET Score card
2) School /Institution leaving (after qualifying examination) certificate
3) Certificate of marks obtained at SSC or its equivalent examination
4) Domicile certificate of parent /guardian Nationality certificate
5) Medical certificate in prescribed Performa
6) Certificate of Caste and Sub-caste (In case of backward class students only)
7) Certificate of Validity (In case of backward class students only)
8) Certificate of non-creamy layer except SC/ST
